Meet Chellissa Jean
As the founder of Chellissajeanphotography, I am a busy mum of three girls who is truly passionate about photography. My journey in the world of photography started with a deep-rooted love for capturing moments and preserving memories. What inspired me to start this business was my passion for photography and the sheer joy that comes with freezing unforgettable moments in time.
I’m currently doing an apprenticeship and I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am for this experience!! Not many Photographers can say they've had the chance to shadow another Photographer, so l am extremely blessed! I wouldn't have all the experience & knowledge I have now without having had this opportunity. I have been obsessed with photography since High School when I got my first point and shoot camera. I photographed everything and everyone! Life got lifey I had children and careers took off. My confidence lacked to start a photography business. After deciding to drop out of college I very quickly started to feel clueless & insecure. I didn't know what to do, I had gone to Beauty School, started Nursing School, everyone else was moving on and working towards a career they enjoyed. I envied those who knew what they wanted in life. God has been so faithful in showing me and guiding me towards a life I've always dreamed of. I am now working towards a career that I love doing, that fuels my soul, & that I wake up every day excited to do!! I can't wait to get to know you and photograph your next event whatever it may be! Im a little shy but when it comes to photography it brings me out of that I’m fun, I’m outgoing, and I’m willing to do whatever you are up for! I love being both in front of the camera and behind the camera so I will show you how to pose so you can relax and just smile! What are we waiting for let’s book your session!
